"Global TESOL in the Digital Age: Integrating Technology, Pedagogy, and Human Values"
As digital technologies continue to reshape English language teaching and learning worldwide, TESOL professionals are navigating both unprecedented opportunities and complex challenges. ALWC2026 invites educators, researchers, and students to explore how technology can be thoughtfully integrated into English language instruction while remaining grounded in sound pedagogy, linguistic principles, and human-centered values in a global context.
From classrooms rich in digital tools to contexts with limited technological access, TESOL practitioners across the globe are adapting methods, strategies, and materials to meet learners’ diverse linguistic, cultural, and emotional needs. ALWC2026 emphasizes a balanced approach - one that values innovation and global connectivity while critically examining the human dimensions of language learning.
ALWC2026 aims to create rich opportunities to share research, classroom practices, and reflective insights that highlight meaningful and context-sensitive uses of technology in TESOL across global settings. We welcome topics include but not limited to:
Global and Cross-Cultural Perspectives
Pedagogical Innovation and Classroom Practice
Critical Perspectives on Educational Technology
Language, Literacy, and Meaning-Making in Digital Spaces
Teacher Education and Professional Development
And more!
