Based in New York, I am an ESL teacher and PhD candidate specializing in instructional pragmatics. My research spans applied linguistics and educational psychology, focusing on explicit and implicit instruction, intercultural communication, and technology-enhanced language learning. Previously, I served as an instructor at Ibn Zohr University in Morocco and at Manhattan University in New York.
Jessica Engle is the Chief Executive Director at New York General Consulting, a licensed private career school, and has over 12 years of experience in the ESL field. She holds multiple roles as a BPSS licensed school director, teacher, agent, and Designated School Official (DSO). Jessica earned her TESOL certificate from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Barbara Kopeloff is currently an adjunct ESL instructor at Peekskill Westchester Community College. She uses her past experiences as a copywriter and strategist in advertising and her newly minted TESOL certification from WCC to design engaging, community-driven lessons for a vibrant and warm learning environment.
I am an English as a New Language (ENL) educator with eight years of classroom expertise. I'm currently pursuing a doctorate in education, and work closely with my school and district, by serving on multiple committees to shape educational policies and practices. My passion for educational innovation extends to the ed-tech space, where I collaborate with teachers nationwide to leverage educational technology for enhanced teaching experiences and improved learning outcomes.
Qiyue Zhang is currently studying at the University of Rochester in Elementary Education, Special Education, and TESOL. Experienced in organizing and coordinating academic conferences, with a focus on topics such as early childhood motor development and the impact of ChatGPT on ESL learners. Passionate about fostering collaborative learning environments and utilizing technology to enhance educational practices. Dedicated to creating engaging and impactful sessions for diverse audiences.
