Most of my past experiences come from various internships that I've held during my summers in High school. These internships consisted of guiding younger kids while teaching them about the Hudson-Raritan estuary. Through these, I learned the value of leadership and what being a good leader means. I hope to use these skills in my future endeavors, whether that means leading a team or understanding the reason leaders make certain decisions. 

Another part of my past experience is derived from volunteering in my community. The school near my house would hold community fairs with various games, food, and community organizations doing outreach every summer. starting in the 6th grade I volunteered every year at different stations. I would help the organizations gather support or help them assist those who needed their services. I also would either distribute the free food that was available or tend to the stands. Through this volunteering, I learned the value of community from a young age, while learning how to interact with different kinds of people.
