I was born and raised in  New York city to immigrants. While in middle and elementary school, I was not often exposed to outside opportunities until I discovered the BOP. This after-school class has led me to join the New York Harbor school and develop a love for Marine science and nature as a whole. In my second year of studies there, I joined the Marine Biology research program which proved extremely fruitful. Up until I was a senior at the New York Harbor School I  gained experience in a variety of roles including project management, data collection, data organization, and much more.  I will use these skills to assist me in my future endeavors after I graduate high school, Where I plan to continue studying marine biology at a higher level and earn my degree.
