Good morning,

The Nye County Health and Human Services department is currently closed to the public but is accepting phone applications for WIC and mailing the debit cards to approved applicants. They also have a limited supply of diapers available. People need to call and complete the request for diapers and other needs. If approved the items will be left outside of their office door for pick up at an appointed time.

Here is some updated information:

Everlywell will start delivering home test kits for Covid-19 on March 23. People will go online and complete a questionnaire to see if a test is necessary. A doctor will review and prescribe the ordered test (or not). The price is $135 but the government is currently working on getting free testing. Results are supposed to be complete and accessible online in 72 hrs of the lab receiving the sample.
