Welcome to the NYCU Aero-Tech Lab, supervised by Prof. Lua Kim Boon. Our lab combines advanced experimental facilities and computational techniques to conduct fluid mechanics and thermo-fluid research across a wide range of application areas, including aeronautics, underwater vehicle design, biomedical applications, green energy, semiconductor and thermal management. In addition, we conduct fundamental research in flow physics to advance the understanding of vortex-dominated flows and unsteady aerodynamics. The lab also supports undergraduate research projects, international student exchange projects, and the technical activities of the Department of Mechanical Engineering’s AUV and UAV competition teams.
Students joining our lab receive comprehensive training in fluid mechanics and engineering research, including experimental design, model design and fabrication, optical measurement techniques, flow visualization, high-speed imaging, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), vibration and motion measurement, experimental data analysis, numerical simulation, and research paper writing. Through hands-on research and team-based projects, students develop the ability to define research problems, plan investigations, establish methods, analyze data, make engineering judgments, and communicate research findings effectively.
歡迎來到國立陽明交通大學應用空氣動力學實驗室。本實驗室由賴錦文教授主持。我們結合先進的實驗與計算技術,針對航空、水下航行器設計、生物醫學、綠色能源、半導體與熱管理等應用領域,進行廣泛的流體力學與熱流研究。此外,本實驗室也致力於基礎流體力學研究,以增進對渦旋主導流動與非穩態空氣動力學的理解。 本實驗室亦支持大學部專題研究與國際交換生研究計畫,並為機械系 AUV 與 UAV 比賽團隊提供技術支援。
在實驗室中,學生可以接受完整的流體力學與工程研究訓練,包括實驗設計、模型設計與製作、光學量測技術、流場可視化、高速影像拍攝、粒子影像測速法、振動與運動量測、實驗資料分析、數值模擬,以及研究論文撰寫。透過實際參與研究與團隊專案,學生能夠培養從問題定義、研究規劃、方法建立、資料處理到工程判斷與學術表達的完整能力。
