The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) of Northwestern University is committed to developing competent, ethical, and socially responsible criminal justice professionals equipped to meet the evolving challenges of law enforcement, public safety, crime prevention, and the administration of justice. OBJECTIVES

Provide instruction, guided experience, and training to develop the knowledge and skills essential to the practice of criminology.
Prepare students for careers in law enforcement and related fields.
Develop students' understanding of society, constitutional guarantees, and due process in the administration of justice.
Foster citizenship, leadership, and an understanding of moral and legal responsibilities to the community.

Encourage research in police administration and related fields of criminology.

Research

Extension Program

Northwestern University (NWU) community, through the College of Maritime Education (COME) and the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), participated in the simultaneous clean-up drive at Marcos Stadium, Laoag City, on May 16, 2025, in preparation for the Palarong Pambansa 2025.

The initiative brought together student-volunteers in promoting environmental responsibility, community involvement, and a cleaner, safer venue for the province's hosting of the national sporting event. The activity supports SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 15 (Life on Land), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
