The Northwestern Tigers Education Foundation (NWTEF) is non-profit organization to support the needs of the School District of Maple and foster community involvement by developing public and private partnerships to provide the resources necessary to ensure the ongoing support of the foundation's purpose. The NWTEF raises and grants funds for innovative educational programs, opportunities, or activities that enhance and enrich the education experience of the School District of Maple that would not otherwise be achievable through available public funds. NWTEF encourages creativity, expansion and excellence for students, staff, and teachers' experience while attending and serving within the School District of Maple.
The application process is described below.
1. APPLICATION: Fully complete the application with supporting documentation
2. DELIBERATION: Application shall be reviewed at the next monthly board meeting, with consideration for deadlines and urgent circumstances.
3. CLARIFICATION: Additional supporting documentation may be requested from the applicant and will be required to be submitted within 20 days.
4. DECISION: Final determination will be made by a vote of the Board of Directors within 60 days of application and relayed to the applicant.
5. PAYMENT: If approved, funds will be available within 30 days of the final decision. Funds are typically paid directly to the vendor, organization, or rarely the applicant at the sole discretion of the Foundation.
