Any Junior who is planning to take AP Environmental Science next year is to see Mr. Corsini to pick up the summer assignment

Any student planning on taking the AP Government & Politics course in the fall should see Mr. Wolford's room to get the summer reading assignment

Students taking AP Seminar this fall should stop and see Mr. Canfield this week

Any Drama Club member in Grades 9-11 interested in going to see Hamilton in Chicago in November should stop and get an information packet from Mrs. Ordakowski. A $50 deposit and registration form is required to hold your spot.

The votes are in and next year's yearbook them is Northwestern High School: From Every Angle. If you ordered a yearbook this year year, you may pick it up in Mrs. Thiem's room. There are a few extras for sale. Get your own for $55.

Any student playing football next year that did not receive a packet, should get one from the office today.



Guidance Office News

Camp Frog is a summer camp for children and teens who have seizures. It will be held June 17-23. The are looking for qualified graduating seniors who are at least 18 years of age to be camp counslors. See the Guidance Office for more information. It will be held at Camp Fitch in North Springfield.

Attention Seniors: There are several new scholarship applications available on the rack outside the Guidance Office. Stop by to check them out!

Seniors: If you have received any scholarships or have confirmed what you will be doing after graduation, please stop in the Guidance Office and let Mrs. Frawley know. This is very important!

Camp Cadet, a leadership and character development camp, will run June 17-22 at Allegheny College in Meadville. The camp is designed to build a better understanding of law enforcement while instilling self confidence. Open to boys and girls 13-15 years of age. See the Guidance Office for more information.

Any Sophomore or Junior interested in learning more about RCI/Dual Enrollment, which is obtaining college credits while in High School, please sign up in the Guidance Office.


Any student interested in becoming a PAW Mentor, which stands for Peers Assisting Wildcats, for next school year - please pick up an application in the Guidance Office

Any Sophomore, Junior or Senior interested in taking a college class this summer through the Rural Regional college, please stop in the guidance office and see Mrs. Gollmer. Classes start very soon and are very affordable.
