To comply with Indiana state law on bullying and sexual abuse prevention, Northwestern Middle School will have a representative from SCAN come to school and talk to each grade level regarding these abuses. On October 24th, a former Northwestern Graduate, Leah Sand, will present on bullying (sections XII-XXII). Mrs. Sand will then come back and cover the state laws on sexual abuse (sections I-XI, all G rated and not sexual in manner). Here is the tentative outline:
