Setting Up Google Classroom

The best way to connect with your students for Google Meet is directly through Google Classroom.  The links are all set up for you automatically.  When it is time for your class to start, you will go to Google Classroom and the students will too.  You will each click on the video camera icon (or Join under Google Meet)

Here is how to turn it on for EACH class:

1. Use a computer (you can use an iPad, the directions are just a little different)

2. Open a Google Classroom class

3. On the left side, under Meet, choose Generate Link and also be sure it says Visible to Students

4. You will need to do this for each class you plan to meet with
