Expedition Giving will remain open thru May 31, 2021
As part of our curriculum, Northwest Passage High School plans 24-30 fully funded learning expeditions each year, in both wilderness and urban settings. The trips range from 1 hour away, to 1500 miles on the road, and international flights. All students have the opportunity to apply for expeditions and are encouraged to go on one expedition a year.

Students begin with a Level 1 trip and after successful completion, will be eligible for a Level 2, then Level 3. This process builds confidence, trust and curiosity for more exploring. Some students will take just 1 trip, while others want to take advantage of every opportunity to go on an expedition.

Examples: Leadership Camp, Service Learning Trip, Short-camping Trip

2-3 Nights, 2+ hours from school
Examples: Medium Range Camping, Chicago, Youth In Government

3+ Nights
Examples: Summer Camping Expedition, Extended Wilderness, Extended U.S., International Trip
