Interdisciplinary Unit

Our interdisciplinary unit is back!  Our entire 8th grade and related arts staff were excited to relate our curricular units to the theme of baseball - America's game!   Students also participated in Genius Hour, presenting their baseball inspired research to their entire class and middle school staff.  Finally, our awesome students raised money to fund the Lehigh Valley Miracle League, an organization that provides children with disabilities a chance to participate in the game of baseball.

Social Studies - Baseball and American culture (Food, Clothing, Slang, etc); Women's League During WWII (Stereotypes); Economics and Baseball Franchises; History of Baseball in America - Civil War past time
