Symphonic Band
Meets 9th period during the school day.
Students must be in marching band and symphonic band.
The band travels to contest annually.
Multiple concerts a year.

Northwest Select Winds
Select ensemble of dedicated musicians from the middle AND high school programs.
Must earn a 20 on the playing rubric to be offered a position.
Multiple concerts a year.
Bonus performances including performances with colleges & other comunity ensembles.
Performs A-AA music and other special pieces.

The Northwest Symphonic and Select Wind Ensemble performed at Lake HS on Saturday March 14. They represented their school and community well in their performance and earned an excellent rating!

The Northwest Symphonic performed at EJ Thomas Hall on Monday February 24th at the University of Akron Band Clinic. This year the ensemble had the opportunity to play at the concert as well!
