DOR provides Vocational Rehabilitation Services to Californians with disabilities who want to work. Services include but are not limited to: employment counseling, training and education, mobility and transportation aids, job search and placement assistance.
NBRC provides a large array of transition services depending on person’s disability and needs. See full list of services here.
Students with developmental disabilities including Intellectual Disability, Autism, Epilepsy, and Cerebral Palsy are diagnoses which may make the student eligible for NBRC services.
A student’s diagnosis must occur prior to the age of 18. Referrals need to be initiated by parents. - Applying for Services

SRJC offers a broad array of occupational certificate programs that provide a course of study preparing students directly for employment or self-employment upon completion of the program in areas such as Automotive, Culinary, Business, Radiology, and many others. SRJC Disabilities Resource Department : The Disability Resources Department (DRD) facilitates equal access for qualified students to community college education through services, academic accommodations, and educational assistance courses in accordance with state and federal law. Students with verified disabilities are encouraged to request services through this department.
