History

NVSBC and sbLiftOff have co-hosted the Veteran Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (VetsETA) in 2021 and 2023 as a symposium to bridge America’s Veterans to small business ownership. Hundreds of veterans from across the country seeking business leadership and their supporters - capital providers, lawyers, M&A professionals, accountants, business schools, and supporters of veteran ETA participated.

These events featured successful veteran sellers and buyers, highlighted war stories and lessons learned; discussed available financing sources; the challenges of accessing that capital; policy plans to boost capital access with the effort to grow a national network. Both events were hosted virtually and the recorded event was hosted on the NVSBC YouTube Channel for anyone to view.
