 A brief history of New Vision Christian Church (NVCC)

On Sunday, January 3, 2010 NVCC conducted its initial service which was held at Pastor and Sister Dee’s house at 43 Threadleaf Lane, Burlington, NJ 08016. At that service the founding members officially joined. 

• Spring 1998: A Time to Share formed

• Summer 2000: A Time to Share formally incorporated as a non-profit organization

• January 2010: First service at Pastor Duckett and Sister Dee's house in Burlington, NJ

• February 2010: NVCC received 501(C) (3) status

• February 2010: NVCC formally takes A Time to Share incorporated as a subsidiary

  • All monies and resources transferred to NVCC

• June 2010: NVCC held its first service at the Westampton Township Recreation Center

• August 13, 2014: NVCC  made settlement on 1303 Route 130 N. 08016

• August 15, 2014: Began refurbishing our new building

• October 5, 2014: Held first service in our new building

• November 30, 2014: Dedication Service – Pastor Douglas M. Carpenter, Philadelphia Praise Prayer and Worship Center Church (PPP&WCC)

• December 31 – January 1, 2015: First watch night service – Conducted by Ambrose F. Duckett, III and William Weston

• March 29, 2015: Held first Family and Friends Day – Pastor Robert N. Jones, Foot of the Cross Christian Church

• June 5-7, 2015: Held first revival – Pastor John Eshun, Ghana Africa

• May 8, 2016: Ambrose F. Duckett, IV and Jayden R. Duckett became the first two members of New Vision Christian Church to be baptized at our church

• October 28, 2018: Lonnie S. Duckett, Jr., ordained by Pastor Ambrose F. Duckett, Reverend Robert N.  Jones and Reverend Durham

• November 10, 2019: Frederick Douglas Minkins Jr. ordained as the first Deacon of New Vision Christian Church

• August 30, 2020: New Vision Christian Church Church hosted our first “Car Service” in light of COVID -19 social distancing protocols

• October, 2020: Mortgage paid in full! God is awesome!

• June 21, 2021:  New Vision Christian Church returned to in-person service.

• November 5, 2022: New Vision Christian Church 10 Year Anniversary Celebration - Pastor Douglas M. Carpenter PPP&WCC

• November 10, 2024: New Vision Christian Church unanimously voted to name Deacon Cleveland Belin as NVCC's second deacon.
