General Requirements

  1. Students, who currently have a job and work an average of 15 hours per week for a

minimum of 270 hours per semester and are enrolled in a class related to their job,

may enroll in the Cooperative Work Experience Program.

OR

  1. Students who currently have a job and work an average of 15 hours per week for a

minimum of 270 hours per semester and are deemed credit deficient by their counselor

may enroll in the Exploratory Work Experience Program.

  • Your grade will be based on the total hours, employer evaluations, completed paperwork, and showing Ms. Sara Rolen your paystubs in a timely manner. (rolensn@nv.ccsd.net)

New Food Service Student Workers

  1. Speak with your counselor to discuss your interest in being a Food Service Student Worker

  2. Complete the application in Taleo - Please be sure you are applying to the correct school. You may use the job number 200000U2 when searching for Sierra Vista's Student Worker application.

  3. Complete the Student Worker Agreement (below) – Must be signed by parent or guardian and uploaded as an attachment at the time of application.

  4. Once Recommended for Hire, students will participate in an I-9 Orientation Session with HR personnel at their school location on a scheduled day (end of April), or at 2832 E. Flamingo Road if students prefer to schedule an appointment on their own. (Document below lists the allowable documentation that must be provided for the I-9 Session. Students may provide ONE document from List A, OR one document from List B and one document from List C)
