ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

I am honored to serve as your Assistant Principal at Sunrise Acres Elementary School. As a native Las Vegan, I am proud of our city and invested in our community. I appreciate the warm welcome that I have received here at Sunrise Acres as a new Assistant Principal. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow both academically and socially. I dedicate my time to the success of our students. My favorite part of being an educator is seeing your children smile each day.

Throughout my 23 years in CCSD, I have been an elementary classroom teacher, an Educational Computing Strategist, and an Assistive Technology Itinerant Instructor. I began my professional career in the field of engineering, then completed my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, one of my master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology, and my other master’s degree in Educational Leadership, all at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, planning parties, listening to podcasts, Disneyland, and Vegas Golden Knights hockey.
