Below you will find resources that will help students access scholarship information from just a few of the MANY resources that are out there. Don't forget about the BEST source of scholarship - the institution you are going to attend! It's important for you to understand what scholarships your school (whether it's a college, university or trade school) offers and what the process is to apply.
Scholarships and grants are helpful ways to fund your college education. They provide you with free money that can go towards tuition or other educational expenses. To find and apply for scholarships, sign up for Scholarships.com, it’s free! Scholarships.com has thousands of national, regional, and local scholarships. There are also opportunities for every grade level, from freshmen to seniors.
The Public Education Foundation provides millions of dollars in college scholarships to help students pursue their dreams of attending college or vocational school. They award more than 900 scholarships each year to help LOCAL high school seniors and college-enrolled students pursue post-secondary education. THIS SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL CLOSED ON FEBRUARY 2, 2026 FOR THE CLASS OF 2026. IT WILL REOPEN FOR CLASS OF 2027 IN NOVEMBER 2026.
The Nevada Promise Scholarship is a unique scholarship established by the Nevada Legislature for Nevada high school graduates to attend community college. As a last-dollar scholarship, the Nevada Promise Scholarship can cover up to three years of tuition and other mandatory fees not covered by other gift aid. If you are part of the graduating class of 2026, make sure to apply during the application period (August through October), and keep current with the ongoing eligibility requirements.
The Philippine Bisayan Society of Nevada (PBSN) Inc - The PBSC Inc is offering a scholarship to seniors with financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA. The application and all other information can be found here. (DEADLINE: March 13, 2026)
Project 150 Scholarship Program - Are you a senior graduating from a Nevada high school and have plans of attending a Nevada college or ANY trade school? Click here to learn more about this scholarship. (DEADLINE: March 13, 2026)
Clark County Education Association - The CCEA is offering ten $1,000 scholarships to students in the Class of 2026 who are related to and nominated by a CCEA member. The student must be nominated by a CCEA member by March 17, 2026 by 5PM to be considered for this scholarship. All information and the nomination link can be found HERE. United Negro College Fund (UNCF) - UNCF is offering scholarships to seniors who have a permanent address in Nevada, 2.5 GPA or higher and unmet financial need. You can learn more and apply HERE. (DEADLINE: March 31, 2026)
20 Pearls Foundation, Inc Scholarship - This scholarship is available to seniors with a 2.3 GPA or higher. Click here for more information about 20 Pearls Foundation and here to apply. (DEADLINE: March 31, 2026)
2026 Delta Scholars Scholarship - Students of Black or African American descent with a 2.5 GPA or ihgher and at least 50 documented hours of community service should apply. Information can be found HERE and students can apply HERE. (DEADLINE: April 10, 2026)
BCON Scholarship - The Black Community Organizations Network (BCON) will offer $500 book scholarships to African American high school graduating seniors. Click HERE to apply. (DEADLINE: April 10, 2026)
Southern Nevada Delta Sigma Theta Scholarship - This scholarship is open to graduating seniors who have a 2.8 GPA or higher and planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university. Click here to apply. (DEADLINE: April 10, 2026)
Kenny Guinn Memorial Scholarship - This $5,000 scholarship is for graduating seniors in Southern Nevada who are planning to attend a 4 year college in Nevada and major in Education. Two scholarship will be awarded. Click here for more information and to apply. (DEADLINE: April 10, 2026)
CGCS-Peters Pharis Foundation Math and Science Scholarship Program - Four scholarships are available for two males and two females who plan to obtain a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA. Click here for more info/requirements. (DEADLINE: April 13, 2026)
The Hannah Brown Community Development Corporation - This scholarship recognizes students who wish to further their educational pursuits by entering colleges, universities, and trade schools. You must be a graduating senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA. -Click here to access more info and the application. (DEADLINE: Completed application must be postmarked no later than April 15th, 2026)
The UpLift Foundation of America - This scholarship supports high school seniors who are preparing to begin their college journey in Fall 2026. This scholarship is for African American Male High School Seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Click here to access the application and flyer with more information. (Deadline: April 30, 2026)
Route 91 Nation - There are three scholarships offered by this organization: Heroes in the Community, Community Awareness Scholarship and Live Like Bailey Memorial Scholarship and range from $500-$10,000. Each one focuses on the aspects of wanting to be of help to the community, whether it is the dream of becoming a first responder, helping by being a volunteer or working with children. Sigma Gamma Rho National Ed Fund - This scholarship is for current seniors who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year institution in the US. You must have a minimum 2.5 to apply. Recipients will be selected on the basis of financial need, academic and personal merit, as well as demonstrated involvement within their community. Scholarships range from $500.00-$2,000.00. Lincoln Dynamic Foundation - The Lincoln Dynamic Foundation Scholars Program was established to recognize entrepreneurial skills, work ethic, and commitment to community engagement of individuals pursuing a degree in environmental sciences and sustainability. One scholar will be chosen to receive up to $2500 per semester for up to four years. Learn more and access the application HERE. (Deadline: JUNE 1, 2026)
Armstrong Family & Associates - This scholarship fund awards two scholarships to students pursuing higher education at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), UNLV, or Nevada State University. You must have a minimum 2.3 to apply. These scholarships, $1,000.00 each, are paid directly to you to lighten your financial load. Click here to access the application. (DEADLINE: N/A)
