For this portrait assignment I had trouble to find a subject at first given that my friend was unable o leave the classroom. But when i did find someone able and free to take pictures I had problems relating towards shadows and placing too much space above their heads. After, this assignment was finished I really did feel proud of what i accomplished, now I feel I can confidently take pictures of my friends and have them looking amazing.
In this photo, I like the use of color as the sky emphasizes the subjects pants. With great use of the rule of thirds it lets you focus on the subject without causing too much distraction.

The color contrast in this photo really helps to pop the subject and make them more visually appealing. The color of the elevator really compliments the subject and helps to contrast there skin tone.
Head's Up!
Head's Up!
In 'Head's Up!" the color of the soccer ball compliments the sky perfectly with the blue hues around it. Matching is displayed in the gray jacket and concrete then in the ball and sky which helps to really place this photo.
