provide career awareness
identify students' interests
develop students' talents
are public schools and there is no cost to attend
may have an extended school day with an earlier start time
will only provide transportation to schools in your area

There are 4 different program themes:

International Baccalaureate (IB)
Fine and Performing Arts
Leadership
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

Application Process:

Students may apply to a maximum of three programs and prioritize their choices.
Parents, guardians, or students can apply online at magnet.ccsd.net
Applications are due by January 10, 2023 at 3:00 pm.

Transportation (busing) is available for students if you are in the school's area. Please see the maps that you can access by clicking here. Sewell Elementary School is zoned for busing for the following schools: Brown Academy of International Studies, White Academy of the Performing Arts, Cashman Middle School Academy of Math, Science and Engineering, and O'Callaghan Middle School i3 Learn Academy (if live on north side of Lake Mead). However, please check the maps to be sure that you are in the area in case you are living at the edges of our zone.
