As part of the Sedway Multidisciplinary Team, the School Social Workers are available to provide crisis intervention services for students on campus experiencing a mental health crisis. Additionally, School Social Workers are involved in re-entry planning for students who return from mental health facilities to provide appropriate supports at the school level.


The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) was created to provide crisis intervention and support to Nevada families dealing with a behavioral or mental health crisis. For so long, families have had no choice but to go to the emergency room due to lack of resources or knowledge of available resources. MCRT responds to youth and families of youth in crisis, over the phone or in person, in order to reduce emergency room visits and ensure everyone receives the proper care.

SafeVoice offers students a comprehensive, reliable and professional way to report tips anonymously 24/7/365. No report goes unanswered as trained professionals in the Department of Public Safety and select school staff are prepared to respond appropriately and in a timely manner.
