GUIDELINES for Student SPEECH

Documents Needed:

✅ A video with a self-introduction and speech
✅ The script of your speech in a PDF format

Video Guidelines:

• Record the video horizontally with your e-device stationed sideway.

• Begin with a brief self-introduction (20 seconds max).

• Speech should be 1'30"- 2' minutes long.

Self-Introduction Sample:

大家好，我叫马丽，我15岁。
我来自阿拉巴马州的圣乔治高中，我读9年级。
我的指导老师是王芳芳老师。
我从2019年在圣乔治初中开始学中文，已经学了三年了，我在家里不说中文。
我喜欢唱中文歌。现在开始我的演讲。

Naming Your Files:

• Rename your PDF script file as:
  Grade Level in school_Teacher's Last Name_, Student’s Last Name_,  First Name_, Category

Example: For John Doe, a student in 10th grade, with Teacher Chen as his Chinese teacher, a high school heritage speaker, the file should be named as follow: 

10_Chen_Doe_John_HSH
