I am thrilled to serve you as your Mandarin Chinese teacher. I look forward to helping you become a critical thinker, self-efficacious learner, and responsible global citizen.

In my classroom you will feel comfortable, safe, and caring because learning only takes place when students are motivated and encouraged. I believe that each student is a unique individual who needs a secure, stimulating and communicative atmosphere in which to grow, learn, and develop.

I believe that my solid theoretical training in linguistics, my foundation in cross-cultural studies, and the study of methods in teaching and learning second language have prepared me for being an effective Mandarin Chinese teacher at Coronado High School.
