Hello! Welcome to our 5th grade class. I am excited to work with you this school year. I am embarking on my 19th year in the Clark County School District. When I was eight years old, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. Teaching has been an incredible journey so far and I look forward to many more years of being surrounded by young minds that change my paradigm on a daily basis.

Philosophy of Teaching
I believe that we are able to learn something new everyday. It is because of this perception that I'm able to impart new knowledge into the minds of my students and in return, they teach me something new everyday. I continue to refine my craft by attending and facilitating professional development. Everyday is a new interaction and a chance to learning something new.
About My Family & Hobbies
My husband and I will be married 15 years on November 23, 2017. I have two children. Matthew and Alexis are 11 years old, and entering Junior High School for the 2017-2018 school year. In our free time we enjoy traveling, cruising, and discovering new places, although we love to return to Disneyland when we can. Our schedules are busy, but we try to fit in Family Game Night weekly.
