The Mannion Library collection includes electronic books, commonly referred to as eBooks. eBooks are interactive digital copies of print books. Students can interact with text by highlighting key passages, searching by keyword, taking notes, and finding information with the built-in dictionary. There are even digital bookmarks. These books can be enjoyed in school or at home through most devices including a Windows or Mac computer, Kindle Fire, Nook tablet, Chromebook, iPad, iPhone, Android phone, and Android Tablet. eBooks can be enjoyed at school or home, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

From the Location dropdown field, select Nevada, type in the first few letters of your school’s name. When Mannion appears in the suggestions, select it. Click Go! Then, select login.

2. Search for a book in the search bar or browse the collection. Mannion’s eBooks, print books, and audiobooks are integrated into Universal Search

In addition to a direct login and enhanced features, this free app allows students the option of downloading a digital copy of the book to read (or listen to) while offline. The Destiny Discover App works in a variety of environments including those made by Windows, Apple, Nook, Kindle, and Android.

For many devices, the Destiny Discover App can be found at both the Google Play Store and Apple Store. For a complete list, 1) open any eBook and then 2) click the three lines in the upper right hand corner to open the menu. 3) Finally, select Download App.

1. Once installed, launch the app on your mobile phone or digital device.

3. Select Login and you’re in! You’ll no longer need to go to the library media program web page to login. From here on out, just open the Destiny Discover app to directly access your eBooks and audiobooks.
