National Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and are planning careers of service to the United States in local, state, or  federal government. All awards are for one year. Write a one-page essay on why you're planning a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware. Marilynn Smith Scholarship.

Leaders Save Lives Scholarship.

This scholarship is from the American Red Cross. This scholarship is open to high school and college students including trade schools or community colleges. Elmira College Scholars Program 

The Elmira College Scholars Program awards five full-tuition scholarships per year to first-year, full-time students.

Eligibility:

When reviewing applicants for the Elmira College Scholars Program, the committee conducts a thorough and comprehensive review of an applicant’s complete file. The committee reviews high school transcripts, academic profiles, letters of recommendation, personal statements, and a 500-750 word scholarship essay based on a prompt.

Applicants need to have a 3.7 unweighted academic GPA.

Current high school students interested in applying should complete the Application for Admission as well as the Elmira Scholars Application through the EC Online Portal. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on December 31.

John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest.

This scholarship is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas. Essays must describe an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarships.

These scholarships are open to 8th grade - undergraduate level students with demonstrated financial need. International Documentary Photography Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students worldwide regardless of academic major. This scholarship is intended to encourage personal involvement in social issues and promote socially conscious documentary photography. This scholarship is open to high school seniors planning to enroll or students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. This is a non-fixed scholarship. The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship 

The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship is a non-renewable $2,500 scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements:

A woman is eligible for consideration for a STAR Scholarship if she:

• Is recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood

• Is a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada

• Has a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

• Exhibits excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success

• Plans to attend an accredited postsecondary education institution in the United States or Canada full time or part time in the fall of the academic year following her high school graduation.

APIA Scholarship Program.

This scholarship is open to Asian or Pacific Islander students who are high school seniors or current undergraduate students and will be enrolled as an undergraduate in the upcoming fall semester. Transgender First Scholarship.

The Daniel B. Goldberg Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to students who must be full-time graduate students with a course of study that has a relationship to state/local government finance, be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and provide a letter of recommendation. Science Ambassador Scholarship.

This scholarship is for female high school seniors and undergraduate students pursuing STEM careers. Funded by Cards Against Humanity, this is a full tuition scholarship. Create a video that is 3 minutes in length or less about any STEM topic and upload it to YouTube. The purpose of the application is to teach others something in a short amount of time. Ray Stoesser Memorial Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to high school seniors or current college students who are interested in or are currently pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. In addition to the monetary award, the selected recipient will serve as a student ambassador for USRPA with an expectation of participating in at least two activities during the calendar year. American Indian Services Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to Native American students pursuing their first undergraduate degree, or a professional/technical certificate. Applicants must be enrolled or will enroll as a matriculated student in a university, college, junior college, or technical school (incoming freshman accepted) and must be at least One-Quarter (1/4) enrolled member of a Federally Recognized Native American Tribe. This scholarship is from Western Golf Association. It is for high school seniors who have caddied for at least 2 years and have limited financial means. This is a full tuition scholarship. Students must have a 3.3 minimum GPA. Deadline is October 15th.

The Coolidge Scholarship - Juniors!  

The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.
