The Scholars Academy is designed for students who are committed to pursuing a rigorous academic pathway throughout high school. Candidates complete seven AP and/or Dual Enrollment courses, demonstrating sustained academic excellence and preparation for college-level success.
Eligibility & Recognition
Eligibility for the Scholars Academy is reviewed quarterly and again prior to the Senior Awards Celebration to ensure that students remain on track with all program requirements.
Students are honored throughout their participation in the program:
Grade-level pins are awarded at the end of each successful year.
A medallion is awarded upon completion of the full four-year program.
Scholars Academy graduates will walk in a white gown at graduation, symbolizing their achievement.
Students may also be recognized as AP Scholars based on AP coursework and exam performance.
How to Apply
Students interested in joining the Scholars Academy must complete the Scholars Academy Application, which outlines all program expectations and requirements. Applications are typically submitted during the spring for the following school year, and acceptance is based on academic performance, commitment to rigorous coursework, and teacher recommendations, when applicable.
Families and students can access the application through this link: Application. If you have questions about whether the program is a good fit for your student, our counseling team is happy to help guide you.
