Marcus Ingerson grew up in a small town in northern Maine, where he first discovered his passion for theatre. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Southern Maine. In 2013, he relocated to Las Vegas to continue his career in the arts.
Over the years, Marcus has gained valuable experience as a freelance lighting, sound, and scenic designer, as well as an entertainment technician. He has worked with regional theatres such as Maine State Music Theatre and Portland Stage Company, as well as with schools and arts organizations like the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. In addition, he has supported large-scale events featuring popular artists such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Josh Groban, and Billy Joel.
Currently, Marcus serves as the Theatre Manager and Technical Theatre Teacher at K.O. Knudson Academy of Creative Arts and Technology. There, he enjoys sharing his knowledge of theatre design and live production with students, encouraging them to explore their own creativity and passion for the arts.
Marcus brings a deep love for theatre and an appreciation for its technical aspects to his teaching, hoping to inspire the next generation of theatre artists.

because we are the only profession that
celebrates what it means to live a life."
