Marcus Ingerson grew up in a small town in northern Maine, where he first discovered his passion for theatre. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Southern Maine. In 2013, he relocated to Las Vegas to continue his career in the arts.
Marcus has gained experience as a freelance lighting, sound, and scenic designer, as well as an entertainment technician. He has worked with regional theatres such as Maine State Music Theatre and Portland Stage Company, as well as with schools and arts organizations like the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. In addition, he has supported large-scale events featuring popular artists such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Josh Groban, and Billy Joel, as well as music festivals such as Life is Beautiful and iHeartRadio in Las Vegas and the HARD Summer music festival in Los Angeles.
Currently, Marcus serves as the Theater Manager and Technical Theatre Teacher at KO Knudson Academy of the Arts. There, he enjoys sharing his knowledge of theatre design and live production with students, encouraging them to explore their own creativity and passion for the arts.
Marcus loves teaching at KO and hopes to inspire the next generation of technical theatre artists.

because we are the only profession that
celebrates what it means to live a life."
