Hey there!

My name is Ms. Barbour and I am the School Social Worker/Safe school professional at Helen Herr Elementary School. I started at Helen Herr in 2017 shortly after moving from Virginia to Las Vegas! I have been in the field of social work since 2015 after finishing up graduate school in Norfolk, VA, where I graduated with my Masters in Social Work. I have worked with people of all ages and walks of life but working with children is by far my passion and where I find myself at my happiest!

I have such a passion for the lives and mental health of children and the adults around them that I am sure to outsource my work to the community and not only to the students and families at Helen Herr. I have love and healing to spread! Therefore, i love to use my voice and words through many mediums such as books, magazines, podcasts and more!
