Message from administration

Welcome to the 2023-24 school year!  It's a great year to be a Titan!  I am extremely excited and anxious about all the wonderful opportunities our scholars will experience this school year!  We are finally a Global STEM Magnet School with a focus on Environmental Studies!  This transition brings about new beginnings for all of our stakeholders.  Our teachers are bold in taking charge of several new adventures this school year!  A new theme, new curriculum, new science labs, and new opportunities to close various gaps of achievement.  Our students should be ready to experience hands-on science experiments, project based learning, inquiry lead reading, writing, and math, as well as opportunities to venture outdoors and learn more about their environment and all it has to offer.  Parents!  I encourage you to dig deep in what your children are learning, explore with them, learn with them, and grow with them.  You too, will be surprised with the growth you will personally see. Lastly, we are excited about our partnerships with Nevada National Security Services, Get Outdoors Nevada, Spread the Word Nevada, and Project Lead the Way. This will surely provide experiences that we never thought would be afforded to our scholars! We have big plans for 23-24, we are so glad you decided to join us for the ride!  Hold on tight!

In Academic Excellence,

Mrs. Ayoka Snipes, Principal

Hello Toland Family!

I want to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. As your assistant principal, it is my sincere pleasure to work with our dedicated staff and community to help provide an excellent educational experience for our students. We are committed to ensuring that your children receive the best support to learn and grow.

Our school is not just a place of learning but also a community where we come together to support and uplift each other. As we start this academic year, I encourage you all to approach each day with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a growth mindset. Families, teachers, support professionals, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make a positive difference. A strong partnership between home and school fosters greater success for our children.

We encourage you to share ideas, concerns, or questions regarding your child’s educational journey and/or our practices as an educational team. I wish your family, and especially your student, great success this school year.

Respectfully,

Mrs. Michelle Hervey, Assistant Principal
