Counselors will be conducting academic planning meetings with each student throughout the school year. We will be discussing high school course options and pathways that align with the student's college and/or career goals.
Adult Education
$100 per 1/2 credit
Online and Self-Paced
Can typically go a little faster than other online options because you have the ability to test out of material
11th and 12th grade only (Must be 16 or older)
APEX
$50 per semester/Bootcamp
Online and Self-Paced
Can test out of modules but will typically require a little more work to get through modules than Adult Ed
If student is able to finish class before the semester they can move on to the next class without paying any additional money
Available to all grade levels
ASVAB: The AFQT score of 50 or higher will satisfy the Career Ready Endorsement requirement.
NCRC: A score of Silver, Gold, or Platinum will satisfy the Career Ready Endorsement requirement. Also has portable credentials that can be taken to employers.
OWINN: The Governor's Office of Workforce Innovation maintains a list of Industry-Recognized Credentials that will satisfy the Career Ready Endorsement requirement. Also has portable credentials that can be taken to employers.
Students are encouraged to visit their teachers after school from 1:30PM-2:00PM to make up any missing assignments or retake assessments.
Math tutoring is available in Room 703 every Monday - Thursday from 1:15 PM-2:15 PM. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Overstreet at oversdn@nv.ccsd.net.
Students can also visit our school librarian, Susan Tomlinson, for ACT Test Prep materials and other studying resources for classes.

A free 24/7 virtual tutoring and academic support is available to all CCSD students and families. Students can access this service via their Clever account.
