DOHS Orchestra Mission

The mission of the DOHS Orchestra program is to build a community of young musicians, foster growth, and strive for excellence. Our goal is to help these musicians not only develop good tone quality, intonation, and musicianship but also build teamwork and friendships within the ensemble. In order to accomplish this goal, we must also develop our interpersonal skills focusing on inclusiveness, empathy for others, and mentorship. Building strong relationships and friendships within the orchestra is key to success.
