The value of an education is well documented. Research and studies have confirmed that the lack of a high school diploma adversely
affects a person’s ability to attain employment, limits career opportunities, and results in lower wages. A variety of educational
opportunities exist for the young adult who chooses not to pursue a high school diploma through traditional means, may be credit-
deficient, or may have been removed due to behavior. Please refer to the following information regarding these choices. Additionally,
school counselors at the sites listed below will assist you in finding the most suitable program(s) to meet educational needs.
Adult Education is an educational program designed to serve adults and out of school youths, 17 years of age or older, who desire to earn a high school diploma or obtain a Nevada State Certificate of High School Equivalency. There is no fee for out of school youth and adults.
The Adult Education Program may award an adult standard diploma to individuals who meet state requirements.

Job Corp is a free training service for students 16-24. You get paid while you advance toward your diploma and career goals. It is a great opportunity for students who may be behind in credits, or unsure what to do after graduation.

Desert Rose is a FULL TIME credit recovery high school, as well as an adult education option.
