GEAR UP and ETS collaborated to take 14 students to the local U-CAN HBCU Fair on September 24th. We had 3 students get accepted to college on the spot, and everyone learned more about the historically black colleges and university options they have available.

All UNLV pre-college programs collaborated to take over 40 students to visit the campuses of Nevada State College and the College of Southern Nevada. Participants learned about the programs offered, what college life is like, and opportunities for scholarships!

Nearly 100 students from Chaparral, Valley, and Desert Pines had the chance to experience a week of workshops about college and career readiness, followed by a 4-day trip to California for college tours and Disneyland!
