ALL 10th, 11th, and 12th graders: Get your GEAR UP surveys and agreements turned in ASAP!
The UNLV Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach (CAEO) pre-college programs programs provide services to low-income and first-generation students to inspire them to complete their secondary education and enter into postsecondary education. These programs are responsible for services, activities, objectives and academic achievement, as well as conceptualizing new programming to enhance middle and high school participants’ academic development and success. Visit unlv.edu/caeo for more information.
Chaparral High School has three of the CAEO programs on campus: Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP), TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS), and TRIO Upward Bound Math & Science Center (UBMSC). We are here to meet you wherever you are in your journey, provide you with resources and opportunities you need, and assist you with making the right post-secondary decisions so you can meet your goals and achieve success after high school.
All of our services are FREE!
All of us are here to help you get ready for what is to come after high school. Contact your program coordinator for questions, concerns, or to schedule a meeting.
