out-of-district student
An out-of-district student is a student that is coming from any of the following environments:
Out-of-state charter, private, or public school
Out-of-state daycare or residential treatment center
Charter, private, or public school in Nevada; NOT in Clark County
Daycare or residential treatment center in Nevada; NOT in Clark County
The Case Management Department must review out of district IEPs and evaluation reports in order to place the student in the appropriate program documented in the IEP.
