The Family Connection Center was established during the 2003–2004 school year. The Family Connection Center partners with families to recognize and address behaviors of concern including, but not limited to; stereotypy, toilet training, communication, play and social skills, independence, food tolerance, self-harm, and aggression. We collaborate with families to create effective strategies that support positive behavioral development.
The Family Connection Center serves Clark County School District families of students with a current Individualized Education Program (IEP). Students do not need a medical diagnosis or educational eligibility of autism to participate.
About our Program
Families participate in five one-hour sessions with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) staff. Sessions take place at one of our office locations and are individualized to meet the unique needs of every student and their family. If a family would like to continue services beyond the five one-hour sessions, they are encouraged to submit another referral.
Sessions are offered in English and Spanish with interpreters potentially available for other languages.
Families can submit a Family Connection Center Referral for this service using the link in the sidebar.
