Note: You are not permitted to bring your charger on campus. You should charge your device every night so that your device is ready for the school day. Please Leave your charger at home.

If you forgot to charge your device please ask your teacher for a classroom loaner or go to the Tech Hub room 302 .

How to upload a File for an assignment on Canvas

- 1. Select the "Submit Assignment" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select "Choose File."
  3. Find your file in the pop-up window.
  4. Select "Open," then click the "Submit Assignment" button.

Viewing Assignment Details

Text Entry Assignment

Select the "Submit Assignment" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Be sure the Text Entry tab is selected.
Click in the space below the Rich Content Editor bar and begin typing.
Enter any submission comments if needed. This is simply a note to the instructor.
Select the "Submit Assignment" button.

How to submit a website URL

Select the "Submit Assignment" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Be sure the "Website URL" tab is selected.
Click into the entry box and type or paste the entire URL.
Select the "Submit Assignment" button.

How to record or upload an Audio or Video File

Select the "Submit Assignment" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Be sure the "Media Submission" tab is selected.
Select "Record/Upload Media," then select the "Upload" or "Record" tab depending on how you want to submit. (NOTE: view the example above.)
Choose the correct file type: Audio or Video.
Select the file from your computer’s drive and choose open.
When your file has uploaded, select "Submit Assignment."
