Meet the team

Shraddha Patel, MS RDN

"I received my master’s degree in Nutritional Science and completed clinical training as a registered dietitian from San Jose State University. I have been working as an outpatient dietitian for over 7 years with the current private practice on Ross Avenue. Food is the essence of life and good food is essential to a healthy life. My nutrition practice is based on a famous quote, “Let food be thy medicine.” At Nutriviva, we understand that quality food choices in combination with a healthy workout routine is the basis of preventing many chronic health conditions. Our patients are also guided and educated based on this belief.

My past work experiences include practicing outpatient in India for 5 years before moving to the United States. I have also worked as a health educator at the South Asian Heart Center affiliated with El Camino Hospital for 2 years and as a group practice provider at California Specialty Physicians in Milpitas. My overall nutrition experience also includes acute inpatient care as a clinical dietitian at Regional Medical Center of San Jose for 5 years. I am also very passionate about my profession and believe that nutrition is the key to preventing many chronic conditions. I also love providing nutrition education to the pediatric population. My strengths as a consultant are active listening and providing practical lifestyle solutions. I truly believe that it is to impart nutrition knowledge in the early years which may help ward off chronic diseases in the future.

Zumba, hiking and yoga are some of my favorite exercise routines. Some of my hobbies include cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients, painting, and classical dance."

Rebecca Coady, MS RDN

"My name is Rebecca and I am a Registered Dietitian who loves potatoes in any form, spending time outdoors, and annoying my cat with affection.

I attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC where I completed a master's degree in Nutrition and a year long dietetic internship before passing my registered dietitian exam. Since then I have relocated to California to start my career in the field of dietetics.

As a dietitian I am guided by intuitive eating. I don’t believe in diets or that the end goal is always weight loss. We all have our own health journey so I will work with you to find the best way to accomplish your goals. Eating should be enjoyable, stress-free, and not consume your everyday thoughts. Let’s bring joy back to food. "
