The historical background to the course
In order to develop an academic exchange and cooperation programme in education and research, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, L3S Research Center and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATICS, DEPARTMENT OF RADIOTECHNOLOGIES INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS have agreed to establish a new course “Artificial Intelligence for Information Technology” based on LUH’s Artificial Intelligence I and II course, which shall last 2 semesters, to be repeated after one year.
The cooperation between Leibniz University Hannover and Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics began in 2014. During this time students from different specialities took part in ERASMUS+ program and were gaining a new skill on lectures, as well as participated in different projects in research centers. With the help of this cooperation students can not only receive new skills in different topics, but also to spread their knowledge to other students while coming back home. Beside this, L3S Research Center helps students with topics and projects on Bachelor and Master thesis by involving students in different local projects.
