Position Papers

Position papers are required for award consideration. They are due at 11:59pm on February 21st (a week before the conference starts). Extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis, you can request on by emailing usmun@nuevaschool.org.

Completed position papers should be emailed to email above, with subject line "[Committee] - [Delegate] Position Paper" (ex: SPECPOL - China Position Paper). They should be in a PDF format.

Position papers should be:

• Double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font, Chicago footnote citations OR MLA in-text citations (we recommend using citation generators if needed, such as NoodleTools)

• 3 page minimum and 10 page maximum (not including Chicago-style or MLA bibliography)

• Named "Country_ComitteeAcronym_NMUNCVI" 

• Include the following sections:

1. 1. Topic Background

   2. Country Policy

   3. Past International Action

   4. Possible Solutions

   5. Works Cited
