2023-2024 Instructional Coaching Endorsement Courses

Purpose:

This endorsement is intended to recognize the efforts and capacity for educators to engage in effective, job embedded professional learning facilitation that improves practice and impacts positive student outcomes. Those who earn this endorsement have engaged in experience and professional learning to strengthen their ability to build educator practice that will support the success of students, educators, schools, and districts.


When: Fall 2023 through Summer 2024

NUES Online Cohort for the first two courses for Synchronous meetings via zoom, the third Tuesday of each month from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.

Course 1:  Sep-Dec  2023

Course 2:  Jan- May 2024

Course 3:  May- Sep 2024


Where: Via NUES Canvas Course and Zoom Meetings 


Morgan/ Duchesne/ Uintah District Cohort   Duchesne TBD ,will be in person for the first two courses and online for the 3rd class.

Morgan District Cohort-Meets the first Wednesday of each month during the school year.

Uintah District Cohort- TBD


Via Duchesne Morgan, and Uintah Canvas Course and Live in person meetings. Location TBD

Each Month, there will be 2 hours of Meeting time and approximately 8 hours of asynchronous work time on each module. 


Coaches can choose 9 Credits of SUU Graduate level Credit  or 9 USBE credit hours upon completion of these courses. 

a $69 SUU graduate level credit Fee Required for each class.  USBE credit hours are free.

To complete USBE Instructional Coaching Endorsement. Two other standards will have to be met, which require time and Instructional Coaching to be signed off by your district supervisor or school administrator and are not required to be taken as courses. You can find these on the endorsement resources page on this site. 5 books will be required for these three courses, they will be listed on the individual course pages on this site.
