STUDENT COMMUNITY SERVICES

1. Department IV Coordinator (2015-2020)- More than 100 industrial visits were conducted for MIE Department students to interrelate with industries on a consistent basis by visiting many renowned industries in and around Muscat to get industrial exposure, thereby preparing them for the real-life corporate world.

2. Guest Lectures (2015-2020)- Invited renowned personalities from many industries and top institutions to share vital information and knowledge gained through their experiences with our students.

3. Internship 2016-Trained /Accompanied the 13 students of B.Sc Chemical Engineering of the Caledonian College of Engineering who have undergone internship from 19-26 August 2016 in the school of Civil and Chemical Engineering (SCALE), VIT University, Vellore, India

4. Facilitated/Arranged a staff visit to Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) on 04th November 2015, and participated in a technical presentation. A group of 17 staff members from MIE dept participated in the visit.

5. Committee member- Automation, Robotics and Manufacturing-Focus group from 2021

6. Committee member- Material Testing Centre at National University- Focus group from 2021
