Currently working as Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Obtained Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering (PhD 2019) from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT-D) focusing in all areas relating to the production process, characterization and mechanical behaviour of engineered materials. Research areas currently span: (a) sustainable development of metal matrix composites; (b) advanced materials processing techniques; (c) inter-relationship between processing and mechanical behaviour; (d) electron microscopy; and (e) failure analysis. Authored and/or co-authored several archival publications in (a) International Journals , (b) Book chapters (c) National and International Conference proceedings, Attended more than 100 professional certification/training courses.16 year experience [as FACULTY] in teaching, researching, investigating, experimenting in Mechanical & Manufacturing / Automotive related areas for B.Engg., BSc., Engineering affiliated to UK, USA, Malaysian and Indian Universities.
