This award recognizes NU faculty members who have effectively integrated Artificial Intelligence into teaching, learning, or assessment to enhance student engagement, learning outcomes, and pedagogical innovation.
Eligibility
Open to NU faculty members only
AI adoption must be directly related to teaching, learning, or assessment activities
Implementation must demonstrate measurable improvement, innovation, or pedagogical value
AI use must comply with ethical, responsible, and academic integrity standards

Evaluation Focus
Creativity and effectiveness of AI-enabled teaching practices
Impact on student engagement, learning outcomes, or performance
Ethical and responsible use of AI in education
Sustainability and scalability of the approach across courses or programs
Required Documents
Teaching innovation summary
Description of AI tools, platforms, or methods used
Evidence of impact (student feedback, performance indicators, sample outputs)
Course or curriculum details where AI was implemented
Applicants must upload a single comprehensive PDF report covering all the above details and a brief rationale/justification explaining why the application should be considered for the award through the designated Google Form under the APPLY menu.

The final eligibility decision is subject to review by the AI Makers Evaluation Committee.
The final incentive decision is subject to approval by the AI Makers Steering Committee.
