Sora is a student reading app that provides access to hundreds of great eBooks and audiobooks.

To access Sora, click on the link and then select Neshannock Memorial Elementary School. If the school name is not automatically available, you can use the set up code: neshannock. Log in using your NTSD email account.

For mobile devices, download the Sora app for free and follow steps 1 and 2.

Students can also access eBooks in the New Castle Public Library system through the Sora app. A library card is not needed. Students can borrow eBooks using their school email.

How to add the New Castle Public Library to your Sora account

Epic! provides access to multi-user eBooks for children. The Epic! library can be accessed for free during the day Monday-Friday.

Click the link above and then enter class code: qnx5938. Select your child’s name on the class roster (or select guest) You will be prompted to type a four-digit pin number: Your child’s birth month and date only. (ex: October 15th: 1015 or August 9th: 0809)

For mobile devices, download the Epic app for free and use the same class code listed above to access your child's account.

Epic School: Students use during school, 7am-4pm local time, M-F

During school hours, students can log in to Epic School from school or home with their Class Code, and read between 7am-4pm.

Epic Free: Students use after school, after 4pm local time, M-F and weekends

After 4pm local time, students can access a selection of books on Epic Free for up to 2 hours/week, after parents sign up with an email address through their school librarian. After that, students can simply log in to Epic using their class code to access both Epic School and Epic Free. Their reading experience will switch seamlessly between the two experiences, depending on the time of day!
