AGM and Dinner Friday 24 November at Bankstown Sports Club
The 2023 season is now at an end.
We will not be taking any further applications for membership this year.
The 2024 season will be administered by Football NSW Referees Department.
Please direct your enquiries to Football NSW.
Anyone interested in officiating on the NPL competitions or the Football NSW Leagues competitions should join our Branch.
Ideally you will be a Level 2 Referee but there are opportunities for Level 3 Referees excelling at community football level.
RDP and Academy referees ready to move beyond Youth football should also be joining to progress your careers.
Match officials interested in receiving a bit more technical education should join as an Associate Member.
As an Associate Member you will get access to:
Seminars
General Meetings and Education Sessions
Weekly Training - and associated coaching
Weekly Technical Debriefs - 30 minutes, online
You'll need to have some info ready:
Your FFA number
Your current accreditation
Your WWC Check Number
Appointments summary - either a download of the last two years, or write your own summary of the games you usually do
Fees for New Members are $250 plus a $50 uniform levy (see below for an outline of uniforms) with the full benefits of membership
Fees for Associate Members are $10 for access to our education resources
No obligation to cover matches, but if you choose to there is no uniform included, matches are limited to League Two Mens and League One Womens, two weekends per month, no voting rights and not eligible to stand for any committees.
Coaching and development offered is the same for all members irrespective of classification.
After you have submitted your application form, we'll review the information to make sure it looks like you are ready for NPL or Leagues football.
One of our coaches will probably get in touch with you to discuss your experience and where you want to go with your refereeing.
Then based on that feedback our Committee will make a decision on your membership.
Unless you fill out our Membership Application form - see the Forms menu - then your application will sit in limbo and go no further, even if you have started your registration on PlayFootball (which will just sit at Pending).
In the meantime, come to our training sessions, attend our seminars, and fitness test (if you like), and do some trial matches.
Details and further admin - like PlayFootball and payment of the membership fee - will follow after your membership is approved.
Just keep wearing your existing uniform for now, even if that extends on to competition matches.
We'll send out details on how to order once your membership has been approved.
Our sponsors kit consists of four coloured shirts, shorts, socks, training shirt and polo shirt.
For Associate Members, you will continue to wear your local branch uniform on matches.
