Hello, I'm Nehemie (pronounced nay-me).
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the proud founder of Restoratively Speaking, and someone who genuinely believes that the bravest thing you can do is ask for help.
I hold a Master of Social Work from NYU's Silver School of Social Work and bring nearly a decade of experience across mental health, education, and community. But more than my credentials, what shapes my work is this: I understand what it feels like to carry things quietly, to be the strong one, and to show up for everyone else while quietly running on empty.
That is exactly who I built this space for.
Restoratively Speaking is a practice rooted in the belief that healing is not about becoming someone new; it is about finding your way back to who you already are. That belief shapes everything I offer, whether I am sitting with a client in therapy, training educators and teams in social-emotional learning, supervising clinicians on their path to licensure, or coaching mission-driven leaders.
As a therapist, I work with adolescents, young adults, women, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and the lasting impact of adverse childhood experiences. As an educator, I bring the same trauma-informed, relational lens to the schools, nonprofits, and teams I partner with. As a supervisor, I walk alongside pre-licensure clinicians as they grow into the professionals they are becoming. And through SOUL Coaching, I hold space for mission-driven leaders learning to grow in their work without losing themselves in it.
In every space I hold, your story, your culture, your faith, and your full self are not just welcomed. They are honored.
I am so glad you found your way here. Wherever you are on this journey, you don't have to have it all figured out before you reach out. Healing begins with one honest conversation, and that conversation can start here.
